    Coming Home

This Installation was born out of a community event aimed at fostering connection and creativity among local artists. The seedpods used are from the Illawarra Flame Tree (Brachychiton) which is indigenous to our region. Each pod serves as a vessel, containing these small unique artworks.

  • Studies began as a small scale installation and grew to include 36 individual artworks.

    Studies

What started as intimate small scale works, in pursuit of material exploration and the constraints of time, evolved into a 36 piece installation. The installation debuted at a solo exhibition. These individual artworks continue to sell at a local studio.

  • This installation encourages the viewer to reflect on their relationship with nature and the spaces we inhabit, and to take a moment for stillness and contemplation..
